WSP Middle East are currently seeking an experienced, strategically minded and results driven Director of Integrated Project Delivery to provide leadership and client management for the Property & Buildings, Design & Supervision team. Focused primarily on large scale, complex projects that require senior leadership and the highest level of client care.

• Take line management and provide a close level of support and leadership to multiple Project Directors leading projects within your assigned portfolio.
• Forge strong Client relationships. Ensure the needs and expectations of the clients are exceeded on a regular basis.
• Develop new business in the kingdom with key Clients.
• Secure repeat business with existing Client base – maintaining an internal KPI of 75% of new work from our existing client base.
• Drive innovation in the WSP Service delivery – with a particular focus on site based activities. Differentiate WSP from our peer group with the

• Hold an unwavering appetite for quality across all we do. The service we provide, the client interactions, the teams we build and design we produce.
• In coordination with the design teams, ensure the seamless transition from design (pre contract) into construction (post contract).
• Lead constructability workshops with design teams, clients and contractors to ensure WSPs designs are always cutting edge and offer the most efficient buildability
• Constantly look to feed lessons learned from site / construction back into the design team for the betterment of WSPs design.
• When required, ensure assigned projects are completed within budget and schedule while meeting client requirements and business objectives.
• When required, lead the project teams to ensure that the deliverables are submitted on schedule and meet client expectations.
• Ensure that the terms of the contract are followed and managing scope changes by effectively delivering project objectives.
• When required, operate as the PD and manage the project teams including architects, engineers, consultants, construction managers and administrative support.
• At portfolio level, monitor progress, provide financial control, and ensure quality of project.
• Responsible for overall work progress and technical performance on the project
• Lead and manage the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to the meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract.
• Ensure robust project plans and forecasts are produced and regularly updated.

• A passion for our industry and driving a new and innovative ways to better serve our clients and projects.
• Successfully led numerous complex, large-scale projects across a range of clients and multi-disciplinary teams
• 20+ years’ experience in delivering fully coordinated, multi-disciplinary projects in the capacity of Project Director
• Well-versed with respect to delivering a fully coordinated project using the latest engineering design and collaboration tools, including BIM.
• Working for an international consultancy for around 15-20 years and over 5 years of my experience has been in the Middle East
• A degree in a discipline suited to the work I deliver, with the ability to converse in technical matters across all disciplines associated with our Program Management and Construction Management projects

It is expected that the applicant is aware of, and ideally experienced in, the (B)IM process according to the full International Standard ISO19650 suite of documents.
In particular:

• Understanding the Client’s data requirements and how they should be properly reflected in appointment documentation.
• Awareness of the security aspects (cyber and physical) of data use at project and organisation level.
• Understand and appreciate the digital evolution of the built environment industry and what (open) data enables.
• The need to deliver projects comprehensively and collaboratively across the team using the most appropriate digital ways of working.
• Identify unrealistic or onerous Client requirements, in the context of ‘best practice’.
