Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Sales Pipeline Development:
- Identify, qualify, and nurture potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of Octopus Digital's solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring optimal pricing and terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs proactively and resolving any issues promptly.
- Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Conduct market research to identify potential target segments and tailor sales pitches effectively.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Mentor and coach the sales team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in digital sales, preferably in the IT or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content marketing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
