Job Description:

E-commerce Manager will spearhead development, execution and continuous improvement of e-com operations ensuring an efficient and commercially viable business model that contributes to the success of client product in KSA. The role considers close collaboration with market Digital team, IT, HQ, Sales, Distributor partner, Logistics and other service providers.

Education:

  • University degree – IT and Digital Marketing Master's degree is a plus;
  • Fundamental knowledge of marketing principles


Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in e-com and/or marketplace operations end-to-end including new functionality planning and testing, UX/UI, web content, digital marketing & ecommerce campaigns, analysing the data;
  • Experience of working in complex environment with multiple stakeholders (Internal and External)


Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English
  • Arabic is a plus


Functional Skills:

  • Strong interest in e-commerce, digital marketing and emerging technologies is essential;
  • Understanding of the Acquisition and Retention tactics;
  • Project management experience, including working and managing agencies, high level of commercial awareness and business understanding;
  • Understanding of technical languages (HTML, PHP, Java.. .etc,) and website architecture. Able to build technical briefs and challenge the submissions;
  • Strong communication and good interpersonal skills, high presentation skills, active team player, structured thinker with excellent analytical skills;
  • Self-disciplined, organized, result-oriented, willing to take responsibility, work independently and under time pressure;
  • Ability to adapt easily and rapidly to any changes and to be at ease with working in a dynamic and complex environment, ability to cope with multiple tasks;
  • Knowledge of local culture and market specifics is a plus;
  • Advanced PC user (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint), knowledge of PowerBI, SimilarWeb and JIRA preferreed


Main Areas of responsibility:

Strategy & Governance

  • Take full ownership of the e-com channel as the primary driver of Ploom volume and a key contributor to brand success in the KSA market
  • Translate the overarching Ploom strategy into actionable e-commerce programs
  • Continuously refine the e-com strategy, offerings, and campaigns to drive growth
  • Monitor and report on key e-com KPIs (e.g., sales, conversion rates, traffic sources) to identify opportunities for optimization and expansion
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of new campaigns and stay abreast of industry trends and innovations
  • Analyze and enhance conversion rates, customer retention, and engagement
  • Develop and implement loyalty programs, discount strategies, and customer engagement initiatives


E-com Consumer Experience

  • Manage website updates, product listings, and content to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience
  • Plan and execute campaigns aligned with global brand guidelines
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize performance and improve the consumer journey
  • Adapt and implement successful ideas from other markets and industries to elevate the consumer experience
  • Collaborate with global teams and local agencies to implement required features and enhancements
  • Work closely with the Digital team on SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns
  • Optimize product pages for both search engine visibility and user experience


E-com Consumer Experience

E-com Operations

  • Manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and return processes to ensure operational efficiency
  • Liaise with Consumer care to ensure visibility over the order processing to all parties
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels by working closely with the distributor, logistics, and supply chain teams


Consumer Data management and communication

  • Develop and maintain a robust consumer data strategy, supported by comprehensive content plans and ongoing CDP optimization.
  • Ensure customer data is accurate, up-to-date, and managed in compliance with data protection regulations
  • Analyze consumer data to guide strategic decisions and maximize retention


Budget & Resource Management

  • Plan, manage, and control the usage of budget and other resources allocated for RRP e-com
  • Ensure that all projects remain within their assigned budgets and resource limits throughout the year, maintaining financial discipline and operational efficiency
