Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Digital Delivery Director to join our team! In this role you will get to Provide strategic leadership, direction, oversight, and guidance in developing enterprise-wide digital roadmaps and initiatives aligned to organizational objectives. .

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the operations of the Common Data Environment (CDE) to enable and facilitate all design and design review activities across a major infrastructure programme for both BIM and GIS
• Manage a team of Bim and GIS Managers and Senior Managers who will be the point of contact for specific design packages and ensure alignment and consistency for the services provided y Digital Delivery.
• Serve as the primary interface with key client accounts for the delivery of digital services.
• Develop the vision and strategic direction for enterprise-wide digital initiatives.
• Support the Digital Steering Committee and various Working Groups to ensure commonality and agreement across the programme in relation to Digital Delivery services, applications and initiatives.
• Work alongside the Digital Platforms team to define, deliver and integrate advanced digital delivery applications and services for a range of stakeholder needs
• Act as the primary interface with the engineering centre leadership and other engineering centres on matters related to digital plans and initiatives implementation.
• Oversee training programs to improve awareness and capabilities on the applications across the program.
• Collaborate with leadership and the digital practice to identify and implement digital solutions that enhance project delivery and performance.
• Ensure the technical excellence of digital delivery services for the program.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to implement and adopt digital systems, tools, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations and information management practices, such as ISO 19650.
• Develop and deliver onboarding for new hires and training programs to enhance the digital skills of staff
• Oversee and monitor key performance indicators and reporting/tracking practices for implementing digital practices and adoption of initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends and advancements in digital technologie
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Engineering or Computer Science
• 20+ years of related experience, including supervisory/managerial experience of digital engineering services, preferably client based
• Proficient in a range of common data environments, collaboration platforms modelling, automation, design review, coordination and simulations applications, specifically Autodesk Construction Cloud, Civil 3D, Revizto, ESRI, Synchro, Cost X, etc
• Experience in 4D, 5D, 6D BIM
• Experience in engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Middle East/Gulf Countries experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams
• Proven experience managing complex BIM, GIS, or automation programs and projects.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to digital technologies and information management principles and practices (IS0 19650).
• Excellent leadership and project management skills. (PMP or similar project management certification is a plus)
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in multiple geographical locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skills in effective problem and conflict resolution, management oversight, people management, and escalation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
