Billing & Collection Specialist

Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for executing billing and collection operations in alignment with stc Group guidelines and financial control requirements. The role supports accurate and timely invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation of billing data with contracts and delivery receipts. The role holder also contributes to monitoring billing performance, resolving customer billing disputes, and providing accurate data to support financial planning and forecasting. The role ensures efficiency, compliance, and accuracy in billing and collection processes while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute billing and collection activities by following established processes and ensuring compliance with stc Group guidelines.
• Support the monitoring and analysis of billing operations to detect errors, inefficiencies, and discrepancies.
• Process customer invoices, collections, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Reporting teams to provide billing data that supports financial planning and forecasting.
• Assist in implementing automation and process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and collection efficiency.
• Coordinate with Enterprise IT team to support digital payment solutions and automated invoicing initiatives.
• Manage assigned customer billing disputes by coordinating with relevant teams (sales, customer service, legal) to ensure resolution.
• Verify billing details, reconcile data with contracts and delivery receipts, and ensure compliance with billing cycles.
• Prepare billing and collection reports to support management review and decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in billing operations by highlighting gaps and proposing corrective actions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  
  

Years Of Experience

• Preferred experience of (1 - 3) years, or equivalent in the area of expertise
