Leidos is seeking candidates for a full-time position as Deputy General Manager (GM) of Leidos Arabia LTD, its wholly owned subsidiary in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Deputy GM reports to and supports the GM to manage all the company’s business activities in Saudi Arabia to include personnel management, financial management, business operations, contracting, government relations/compliance, business development, and program execution. We are looking for an energetic team-oriented leader that can inspire Leidos personnel to “make smart smarter” while maintaining trusted professional relationships with employees, partners, customers and vendors in a highly diverse, multi-national setting.

THE CHALLENGE (primary Responsibilities)

The Leidos Arabia Deputy GM reports directly to the Leidos Arabia GM. The Deputy GM is responsible for the following:

  • Coordinates in-Kingdom functional support to include human resources, accounting, tax, audit, legal, payroll and banking services.
  • Coordinates Leidos intercompany corporate support (Human Resources, Global Mobility, International Accounting, International Payroll, Tax, Legal, Ethics and International Trade Compliance).
  • Coordinates legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Supports program execution (cost, schedule, quality and risk).
  • Supports safety and risk management activities.
  • Coordinates local contracting activities and vendor support.
  • Supports recruiting, hiring, performance evaluation and compensation activities.
  • Supports employee engagement, workplace relations, and ethical compliance.
  • Supports comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communications plans.
  • Provides input to weekly situation reports for senior management.
  • Assists the GM in managing a multi-national team of 75-100 personnel.

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic Qualifications)

  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 5+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Requires 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience with a large U.S. prime defense contractor in a finance and business operations role.
  • Cultural awareness and adaptability are a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia.
  • Previous country manager or deputy country manager experience.
  • In-Kingdom resident with transferrable iqama.
  • Familiarity with international Military, Defense and Security programs.
  • Ability to speak/comprehend Arabic.

Pay Range

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
