Job Summary

Result-oriented Senior Site Reliability Engineer with 5+ years of experience in maintaining and improving the reliability, scalability, and performance of complex distributed systems. Proficient in using industry-leading tools and technologies to optimize infrastructure and automate operational tasks. Skilled in incident management, monitoring, and deployment automation. Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities, ensuring seamless operations for high-traffic FinTech applications. Job-specific

• Designing and implementing scalable and reliable infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of HALA applications
• Collaborating with development teams to integrate reliability and resilience into the software development lifecycle.
• Conducting post-incident reviews and root cause analysis to identify areas of improvement and prevent future system failures.
• Implementing monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Automating routine tasks to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention, contributing to overall system efficiency.
• Participating in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support and quick resolution of critical incidents.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in system reliability and security.
  
  

Skills & Experience

Linux Administration: Deep expertise in managing and optimizing Linux-based systems.

Scripting & Automation: Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting for automating workflows.

Databases: Experience in Patroni Postgres Administration, MongoDB, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with GCP, OCI, or Alibaba Cloud.

Observability & Monitoring: Strong knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or other monitoring tools. CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.

Networking & Security: Understanding of Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and security best practices.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent field of studies Relevant certifications (CKA, Terraform Associate, GCP/AWS/OCI certifications) are a plus
