Data and Analytics Specialist -SMP

Scope :

Data and Analytics expert perform exploratory data analysis and visualizations to get a better appreciation of the data. Develop predictive models, customer segmentation, and other analytical tasks.

Description

1. Lead the development of analytics capabilities and required business intelligence dashboards that support the decision-making process.
2. Perform in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business decisions. Utilize statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract valuable information from complex datasets.
3. Develop data collection, storage, and governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
4. Lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of data management including ETL, cloud, reporting tools and technologies.
5. Ensure the availability and reliability of data platforms and systems for data analysis and reporting purposes
6. Development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise.
7. Design and implement data models to structure and organize information for analysis. Create visually compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
8. Engage with business to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.
9. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Share knowledge, best practices, and industry insights. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
10. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
11. Expert in Data integrations and data modeling.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (degree, training, or certification required)

• Degree :
• Bachelor’s Degree in (Computer Science), MIS, or equivalent.

• Minimum Experience
• 10+ years of related experience.

Job Specific Skills :

• Analytical Skills: Should be able to interpret complex information from various sources and be able to decide what is the best way to move forward on requirements or issues?
• Data and analytics portfolio experience with track record of effective data management & reporting
• Proven track record of applying modern data management techniques and tooling across large, complex, change and technology initiatives
• Track record of building effective relationships to ensure approved agreed delivery plans
• Proven background in adapting to trends and openness to new ideas
• Data analytics expertise - In-depth knowledge and experience in data analytics tools (ETL, Cloud, BI, Python, SQL and similar) and execution
• Understanding on Data Strategy and Governance
• Communication Skills: Should be able to act as a go-between with business proponents and ICT departments.
• Creativity: Finding innovative solutions to problems and an ability to think outside the box.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
