Parsons is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Administrator to join our dedicated team on the iconic NEOM The Line project. This is a critical role responsible for the effective management of contractual agreements, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting the successful delivery of this groundbreaking megaproject. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction contracts, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of managing complex contracts within large-scale international projects.

Job Description
Parsons is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Administrator to join our dedicated team on the iconic NEOM The Line project. This is a critical role responsible for the effective management of contractual agreements, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting the successful delivery of this groundbreaking megaproject. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction contracts, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of managing complex contracts within large-scale international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer various types of contracts, including but not limited to, construction, consultancy, and procurement agreements, from inception through close-out.
- Review, analyze, and interpret contractual terms and conditions, identifying potential risks and obligations.
- Prepare and issue contractual correspondence, notices, and instructions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage change orders, variations, claims, and disputes, including assessment, negotiation, and recommendation for resolution.
- Ensure all contractual activities adhere to project procedures, company policies, and relevant legal requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized contract files and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, legal, finance, and technical teams to ensure alignment on contractual matters.
- Support the tendering and procurement process, including drafting contract documents and participating in negotiations.
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of progress payments, valuations, and final accounts.
- Provide contractual advice and guidance to project teams, identifying potential issues and recommending proactive solutions.
- Participate in contract review meetings and provide necessary updates and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in contracts administration, ideally on large-scale infrastructure, construction, or megaprojects.
- Proven experience working on projects within the Middle East, with a strong understanding of local laws and customs, is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of various contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, bespoke contracts).
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and legally sound correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and resolve complex contractual issues.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding, and multicultural project environment.
