About the role:
The position is responsible for supporting the Group Finance Department in the preparation of quarterly consolidated financial reporting, 10-year financial projections, debt-related compliance, variance analysis, and monitoring across HAACO and its subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Subsidiary Coordination
- Coordinate with the finance teams of HAACO’s subsidiaries, local and overseas, to ensure timely receipt and review of their quarterly management financial statements.
- Monitor compliance with reporting timelines and Group accounting policies.
- Consolidation and Reporting
- Prepare quarterly the Group’s consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare regular financial analysis, management financial reports, and audit support across the consolidated, HAACO stand-alone, and individual Business Unit levels
- Financial Projections
- Prepare and update quarterly the comprehensive 10-year rolling financial projections at consolidated and stand-alone levels, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Leverage and Borrowing Capacity Analysis
- Calculate current and projected leverage ratios, gearing levels, and borrowing capacity, including equity bridge loans (EBL).
- Prepare financial metrics and ratios used for strategic and financing decisions.
- Banking Covenant Compliance
- Monitor compliance with financial covenants across all borrowing facilities and Equity EBLs and report expected deviations.
- Prepare periodic covenant testing reports and ensure timely communication with lenders.
- Debt Servicing and Cash Flow Monitoring
- Maintain a schedule of HAACO’s debt and EBL obligations and ensure timely reporting of upcoming principal and interest payments.
- Track and forecast cash requirements for debt servicing and report proactively.
- Debt Refinancing Support
- Assist in the preparation of financial supporting documentation required for debt refinancing, restructuring, or new financing arrangements.
- Liaise with different stakeholders (teams, financial institutions, advisors, etc.) as needed.
We're looking for someone with:
- Active SOCPA membership.
- Professionally certified accountant with a recognized qualification such as CPA, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA — or any similar equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a group or holding company environment
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Odoo).
- Financial consolidation, corporate finance, and debt management.
- Proficiency in Excel-based forecasting.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and banking covenants.
- Communicates effectively in English.
