Treasury Accountant Responsibilities – Cash Management, Banking, Financial Control

• Daily Cash Management: Monitor, reconcile, and report daily cash balances; ensure availability of funds for operational requirements and timely settlements.
• Banking Operations: Execute and record banking transactions, manage bank account administration, maintain banking relationships, and oversee online banking platforms.
• Payment Processing & Controls: Prepare, verify, and process supplier payments, payroll, and internal transfers while adhering to all approvals, budget controls, and compliance protocols.
• Cash Flow Forecasting: Partner with business units to prepare accurate cash flow forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend actions to optimize liquidity and working capital.
• Treasury Reporting & Compliance: Maintain treasury records, support audits, and ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local regulatory standards.
• Risk Management: Assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks related to treasury operations, including foreign exchange and interest rate exposures.
• Process Improvement: Continuously enhance treasury processes, leverage digital solutions, and contribute ideas for improving efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, procurement, FP&A, and other teams to resolve queries, support treasury projects, and foster a culture of financial excellence.

Treasury Accountant Requirements – Finance Degree, Treasury Experience, Analytical Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CTP, CPA) are highly regarded.
• Professional Experience: Minimum2 years’ experience in treasury, cash management, banking, or corporate finance roles, preferably within a retail, FMCG, or e-commerce environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in ERP and treasury management systems, advanced Excel, and online banking tools. Familiarity with automation and treasury analytics is a plus.
• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, spot trends, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced setting.
• Communication & Teamwork: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, solution-driven mindset.
• Ethics & Integrity: Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and commitment to upholding ethical financial practices.
