Job Title: Head of Concrete Technology Consultancy Division

Division: Concrete Technology Consultancy

Reports to: Country Manager

Supervises: Senior Concrete Technologist, Senior Materials Engineers, Senior Concrete Inspectors

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead all aspects of ACTS’ Concrete Technology Consultancy, including concrete mix design, quality control/assurance, materials evaluation, batching plant inspection, concrete durability and service life assessments, and non-destructive testing.

- Provide consultancy on specialized areas such as precast/prestressed concrete, bridge inspections, slipformwork design, corrosion testing, and slab/bridge load testing.

- Train and mentor senior staff in concrete technology and related services.

- Meet with clients, identify project opportunities, and promote consultancy services.

- Develop and manage annual budgets, including sales forecasts and expenditure.

- Set and track monthly KPIs for team performance.

- Oversee daily division operations, ensuring alignment with company mission and quality policies.

- Collaborate with internal teams (Materials Testing, Geotechnical, Purchasing) to ensure operational efficiency.

- Drive business development initiatives to expand market share and achieve division growth targets.

- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and continuous improvement efforts.

- Manage recruitment for vacant positions within the division.

Qualifications:

- Education/Experience: Master’s degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of experience in concrete technology or a related area.

- Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Expertise in concrete technologies, advanced mathematical concepts, and industry regulations.

- Computer Skills: Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, accounting software, database management, and project management tools.
