Your role
Are you looking for a challenge in an interesting and dynamic environment? Do you enjoy advising and supporting business and functional partners to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements? Are you confident when it comes to speaking up for what is right and challenging at all levels?

We are looking for a compliance and operational risk officer (C&ORC) to engage on a temporary contract to:

• work closely with compliance teams within the group in Saudi Arabia and other locations to deliver on the mandate
• support local management in Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia (CSSA) in remaining compliant within the regulatory environment and managing their risk
• support CSSA in the firm’s interactions with its regulator, the Capital Market Authority (CMA)
• prepare compliance reports, execute second-line-of-defence monitoring tasks, perform risk assessments and investigations
• support integration-related projects,
• assist during audit and regulatory reviews
• handle queries and tasks associated with the Money Laundering Reporting Officer position, including receiving employee escalations of suspicions of money laundering or terrorist financing activity, overseeing the management and screening of local lists issued by local regulators.
  
  

Your team
You'll be part of the Middle East Compliance team, which provides C&ORC cover for the four regional locations of Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar and Bahrain. The business divisions covered in Saudi Arabia are Wealth Management and Investment Bank.

Your expertise

• current or past experience of working in compliance monitoring, or audit.
• analytic, accurate, structured, with the ability to provide practical solutions, minimizing risk;
• accountable with integrity, independent, and focused on making an impact whilst collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.
• assertive and pro-active;
• fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills;
• a university degree
