Join our Digital Industry as the Commercial Project Manager with our Process Automation team and help us transform the everyday by finding solutions and making the world a more inquisitive place for tomorrow.
You‘ll make an impact by:
- Checking offers and proposals to customers which include checking, reviewing, and negotiating Terms & Conditions (involving basic legal and tax matters). Participating in Limits of Authority (LOA) meeting and follow up with legal / compliance.
- Booking of new orders / projects and initiating Order Entry Checklist, approval of order booking as per Siemens processes, if applicable.
- Creating and maintaining customers (using GMDM tool). Initiating bank guarantees through online (GREAT) tool.
- Continuous monitoring of project progress, issuing advance payment invoices and progress invoices to customers.
- Forecasting Sales from order backlog in coordination with relevant technical / execution teams.
- Follow up of receivables with customer for invoices issued in the projects.
- Maintaining database in the online tool to book time sheets. Monthly posting and uploading time sheets in SAP from time sheet tool.
- Reviewing and checking Order Cost Controlling reports for the projects. Maintain accurate records of the projects in SAP and update it in timely manner. Ensuring timely booking of costs, supplier invoices and NCC controlling.
- Following up Purchase Orders issued to 3rd party vendors, approving supplier invoices, releasing payments.
- Participating in kick off and project meetings. Preparing financial slides for project review meetings.
- Ensure strict adherence with legal, financial and compliance guidelines & policies of Siemens.
- Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent from a reputable institute
- User knowledge of SAP is mandatory (Sales & Logistics module)
- IFRS-15 knowledge is a mandatory
- At least 5-year working experience in Sales & Commercial Project Management with in Siemens.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving and strategic thinking
- Knowledge of financial statements, accounting concepts and conventions
- Knowledge of legal and commercial areas relating to contracts, banking and payments, knowledge of taxation matters like VAT, Export Control, withholding tax. etc. will be preferred.
- Certified Commercial Project Manager (PM@Siemens), with mandatory Middle East experience preferred
