Commercial Manager

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing all commercial, contractual, and financial aspects of major infrastructure projects in Riyadh, including roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, and associated utilities , within a consultant/PMC environment . The role requires strong experience in the Middle East market , working closely with clients, contractors, and internal project teams.

• Lead commercial and contract management activities across multiple infrastructure projects.

• Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC Red & Yellow Book conditions.

• Manage variations, claims, EOTs, loss & expense, and change control processes.

• Review and certify interim payment applications , final accounts, and commercial reports.

• Provide commercial advice to Project Directors, Engineers, and Clients .

• Support dispute avoidance , claim negotiations, and contractual correspondence.

• Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, risk registers, and cash flow.

• Ensure compliance with client governance, contractual procedures, and consultant best practices .

• Interface with legal teams on contractual matters where required.

• Mentor and manage commercial / QS teams on assigned projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related discipline .

• 15+ years of experience , with significant consultant/PMC experience in the Middle East .

• Proven background on roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, and infrastructure projects .

• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts , claims management, and commercial risk control.

• Experience working on Saudi Arabia / Riyadh-based projects is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
