Cloud and Data Center Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud and Data Center Infrastructure Expert with over 10 years of experience to lead the design, implementation, and management of advanced cloud-first IT infrastructure solutions. This role emphasizes expertise in cloud technologies, with a strong foundation in data center operations, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will hold at least one of the listed professional certifications and bring a strategic approach to developing secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure solutions across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, prioritizing performance, security, and scalability.
• Lead cloud migration projects, including workload assessments, re-architecting, and hybrid-cloud integration.
• Design and implement hybrid cloud architectures, ensuring seamless interoperability with on-premises data centers.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC frameworks.
• Establish robust disaster recovery (DR) and backup strategies for cloud and hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate cloud services into CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment workflows.
• Monitor and optimize cloud usage to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to budget constraints.
• Define and enforce best practices for cloud governance, security, and compliance.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and provide recommendations to improve existing infrastructure.
• Provide guidance on modernizing data center operations to align with cloud-first strategies.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a primary focus on cloud platforms and technologies.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud services, including architecture, migration, and operations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native tools and frameworks, such as Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures.
• Proven experience with networking, storage, and virtualization technologies in a hybrid cloud context.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on operational excellence.
