Reports to: Nursing Education Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Facilitator to join our dynamic nursing team. This role is crucial in guiding and developing clinical competencies among nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Nursing Competence Development: Support and develop the clinical skills of nursing staff through structured programs
• Orientation for New Nurses: Plan and facilitate nursing orientation programs, ensuring that all new hires are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for their roles
• Nursing Procedure Compliance: Ensure the correct application of nursing procedures and policies, conducting regular assessments to maintain high standards
• Training Needs Assessment: Identify training requirements and develop interventions to address clinical gaps
• Professional Development Promotion: Foster a culture of continuous professional development through clinical rounds, preceptorship, and role modelling

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor of Science or Diploma in Nursing
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of general and/or specialized clinical nursing experience
• Professional Registration: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the relevant healthcare authority

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in a multicultural healthcare environment, especially in clinical education
• .Previous experience in a Preceptor role

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Facilitation and Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively deliver training and educational sessions
• Assessment Skills: Proficiency in evaluating the competencies of nursing staff
• Knowledge of Nursing Processes and Procedures: Advanced understanding of nursing standards, infection prevention, and control
• IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, e-learning platforms, and other relevant software tools
