We are recruiting for Channel Development Manager to be located in Riyadh or Jeddah.

Key Activities Of This Role Include

  • Identify and develop regional channel partners to expand market presence.
  • Manage Top accounts in Key focus markets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish strategic relationships within Key partners to enhance product visibility and sales.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with key accounts
  • Provide training and coaching to distributor key account managers to enhance their sales capabilities and drive performance.
  • Oversee the tender business across the GCC, ensuring compliance with specifications and timely submission of proposals. And collaborate with distributor and internal teams to support the development of competitive bidding strategies.
  • Develop and implement best practices for account management and customer engagement.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities within the GCC region.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market data and customer feedback.
  • Monitor sales performance and channel effectiveness, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and track progress against targets.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure alignment on strategies and initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between various stakeholders to optimize channel performance
  • Identify unmet needs of the Middle East & Africa market, their stakeholders and support creating incremental value for the company, jointly with internal stakeholders

Main performance measures (Performance Goals)

  • G&Os incl. sales targets
  • Setting-up training for Nurses, distributor team and doctors
  • Creation of centers of excellence

Qualification & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Medical field
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical sales, or marketing role (e.g. product management or key account), with proven track record.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Account Management experience in Medical Devices, or Pharma
  • Team management experience is a plus
  • Experience in a multicultural environment and strong track record of achievements.
  • Experience within Surgical vision is plus.
  • Previous experience in Middle East & Africa health care environment for several years, understanding dynamics and trends
  • Experienced Microsoft Office user
  • Language: Arabic, fluent in English
  • 70% time of the role is spent in the field
  • Location: Saudi Arabia

Technical/Functional Skills Required

  • Marketing experience greatly valued (new product launch/introduction)
  • Business development and account management experience greatly valued.
  • General surgery procedure & anatomy knowledge greatly valued.
  • Clinical experience greatly valued.
  • Health economics experience or knowledge valued.
  • Regional experience a plus.
