Role Overview:

As a Business Development Specialist , your primary responsibility is to drive growth and expand the business opportunities of the organization. Your role involves identifying and pursuing new market segments, clients, and partnerships to increase revenue and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conducting thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing strategies and action plans to penetrate new markets, expand existing customer base, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Client Acquisition: Actively prospecting and acquiring new clients by networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements, and providing effective solutions to meet their needs.
  • Proposal Development: Creating compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches to win new business opportunities.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Collaborating with clients to negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  • Market Analysis: Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to align business strategies and facilitate seamless execution.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Tracking and analyzing business development activities, sales metrics, and market performance to provide regular reports and insights to management.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and reviewing financial statements.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
