Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive product specifications and expand business opportunities within the architecture and interior design community. The role focuses on promoting premium furniture fitting solutions, establishing strong relationships with architects, designers, and developers, and managing the process from specification to sales conversion.

Job Responsibilities:

• Promote and specify company products to architects, interior designers, developers, main contractors, and cost consultants across the region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with architect and designer offices to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
• Conduct product presentations, “lunch and learn” sessions, and site visits to showcase product features and advantages.
• Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through networking and relationship-building with key decision-makers in the industry.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams and stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition from project specification to sales conversion.
• Stay updated on new products, technical developments, and market trends through regular training sessions.
• Provide clients with technical support and product knowledge to ensure optimal use and satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in specification sales, preferably within the hardware, furniture fittings, or building materials industry.
• Strong understanding of the architecture and interior design ecosystem.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel as required.
