BIM Coordinator

• To support our client-side BIM management team in ensuring BIM compliance and coordination across large-scale development projects, working closely with the BIM Manager to monitor and evaluate BIM deliverables from various project stakeholders.

• Assist in conducting BIM capability assessments of project stakeholders.
• Assist in reviewing BIM execution plans and BIM deliverables from design and construction teams.
• Assist in verifying the integration of GIS data with BIM models.
• Conduct detailed BIM compliance checks against client standards and project requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows from the client's perspective.
• Conduct detailed compliance checks on BIM deliverables.
• Help coordinate and validate asset information deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on the use of correct naming conventions, eLOD requirements, and data standards.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and design reviews, representing the client's interests.
• Perform clash detection and visual walkthroughs.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on BIM compliance and coordination issues for project leadership.
• Support the development and updating of client-side BIM standards and requirements.
• Support the management and maintenance of the client's Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Validate and integrate GIS data with BIM models.

• 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably with some client-side or consulting experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Proficiency in BIM software platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D)

• Certification from Saudi Society of Engineers or local equivalent based on country requirement.

• Experience with Common Data Environments and collaboration platforms (e.g., ACC, BIM 360).
• Experience with EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems) like Aconex for document control and project communication.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and best practices, including ISO 19650 series.
• Proven record on delivering major projects in BIM successfully.
• Familiarity with COBie, Uniclass, and Omniclass classification systems.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse project teams.
• Experience in producing clear, concise reports and presentations for senior management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with InDesign and PowerPoint for creating compelling presentations.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, for creating and maintaining project dashboards.
• Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and present BIM-related data in a clear and informative manner.
• Experience with stage-specific deliverables from concept design through commissioning and handover.
• Experience with reality capture and Lidar survey data integration.
• Familiarity with 4D and 5D BIM applications.
• Familiarity with Document Naming Conventions and eLOD parameters.
• Knowledge of Omniclass, Uniclass, and COBie content requirements.
• Experience with Autodesk ACC portal and ability to manage permissions and access for various stakeholders.
