BIM Coordinator

In Saudi Arabia, SYSTRA has been ever present for more than 20 years and continues to expand and play its part in helping the Kingdom achieve its 2030 vision. With 400+ employees SYSTRA is involved in many of the Kingdoms iconic projects.

Within our Consulting business, we have an opportunity within Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; with a wider scope we are looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our team.

Missions/Main Duties

• Coordinate and manage the implementation of BIM processes across infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with national and international BIM standards (e.g. ISO 19650, PAS 1192), guidelines, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist in the creation, management, and coordination of 3D models for various engineering disciplines (civil, structural, MEPF).
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM related matters.
• Review and manage BIM model quality to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Facilitate collaboration between internal teams, clients, contractors, and external stakeholders through BIM tools.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution using BIM software to ensure project efficiency.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet client and regulatory standards.
  
  

Profile/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Master’s Degree in BIM is a plus.
• Relevant professional certifications
• Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in a BIM Coordinator role, preferably within infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience implementing BIM across all project stages: design, construction, and handover.
• Working knowledge of openBIM standards (IFC, COBie).
• Strong knowledge of BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil3D and other BIM tools.
• Familiarity with CDE platforms (e.g. BIM 360, ProjectWise, Aconex) for model and document management
• Good understanding of BIM processes, methodologies, and industry standards e.g. ISO 19650, PAS 1192
• Experience with clash detection and resolution processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• A proactive approach to identifying issues and providing solutions.
