About This Opportunity
Ericsson is seeking an Automated Operations Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will take the lead in coordinating, supporting, and executing 1st Level proactive and reactive maintenance activities. Your work will be critical to ensuring uninterrupted, high-quality services for our customers, in line with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
What You Will Do
- Perform 1st Level Service Monitoring and Event Management.
- Manage service and resource alarm handling.
- Monitor resource and service performance.
- Respond to network alerts and escalate critical or degraded issues affecting KPIs.
- Troubleshoot daily customer complaints through initial checks and timely resolutions.
- Follow up on critical and major cases until successful closure.
- Prepare and share accurate HO reports during shifts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network issues and enhance performance.
- Work flexible shifts, including nights and public holidays (e.g., Eid, National Day), to ensure continuous support.
- 0–2 years of experience in Telecom or IT with knowledge of network operations.
- Familiarity with databases and Unix Shell scripting.
- Programming proficiency in Java/Groovy, PHP, JavaScript, and Python.
- Solid Linux hardware knowledge and basic understanding of RAN, Transmission, and Core network operations.
- Experience in 24/7 real-time monitoring and willingness to work flexible shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage customer complaints effectively.
- Competence in conducting initial checks and handling follow-ups for critical cases.
