The role holder is responsible for managing all the transactions required to support the employee's life cycle with the organization and HR Operations team extends services like responding to queries, processing transactions and providing various documentation required for the employees.
Responsibilities
- Manage HR Operations team and provide support in all related activities.
- Manage and oversee complaints from department for any HR Operations issues and address and solve them accordingly.
- Lead and act as a point of contact with Legal department in any related cases and complaints.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing policy and procedures.
- Address employees' queries (e.g. on compensation and labor regulations)
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
- Enhance the organization by planning, implementing, and evaluating team relations according to Human Resources practices.
- Build strong relationships with external and internal, clints, fostering trust and promoting collaboration.
- Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction.
- Maintain and develop effective internal procedures, handle employee and HR Team related issues, support recruiting and retention efforts, and keep performance at high levels.
- Manage and maintain payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
- Lead and manage the Health insurance process including issuing, adding, deleting, and editing
- Monitor staff achievements, perform periodic performance appraisals, and provide guidance, coaching or training to direct reports in performing their delegated duties
- Optimize the use of personal and team time/effort in carrying out assigned duties, to ensure work meets agreed standards for timeliness and quality
- Ensure continuous monitoring of trends in the market and provide advice to HR leadership on potential initiatives
- Perform any other duties assigned to by the line manager related to the nature of the work
- Enforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence, and vigilance, within departmental/unit activities and operations
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- A tertiary-level qualification in from a recognized institution.
Years & Nature of Experience
- Would have 8 to 10 years of equivalent experience in HR Operations Field
- As an individual contributor, would be the subject matter expert for a capability area or key process in their organization and would typically be the person to lead design work in their area
- Has lead technical or process areas in their area; excels at leading teams and worked effectively with other areas and stakeholders outside their function
- If a manager of others, has impacted team culture through their work
- Has clearly demonstrated ability to link technical contribution back to business impact for their team or area
