Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for an innovative and strategic Associate Director for Mall Media and Promotions to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in driving the marketing strategy and promotional activities within our upcoming mall space, ensuring an engaging and vibrant environment for our visitors.

As the Associate Director, you will lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns and media partnerships that enhance the mall's visibility and attractiveness. Your creativity and market insights will help to identify new promotional opportunities that align with the overall Qiddiya vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director Leasing to provide inputs in the development of the annual revenue targets / income projections for the Short-Term Retail (STR) and Mall Promotions and Media (MPM) plans for each operating asset including budgets.
  • Lead and guide the STR team to identify and prospect potential clients and new retail concepts suitable for RBU operating assets, with a view of growing business, enhancing the customer experience, and increasing profitability
  • Lead and guide the Mall Promotions and Media (MPM) team to deliver the set revenue targets in each of the operating malls within the portfolio
  • Ensure through a proper monitoring system, that all payments for relevant deals are collected on time and as prescribed in each agreement
  • Develop new and innovative media programs in each of the operating malls, with the aim of increasing revenue generating opportunities
  • Develop and maintain long term business relationships with key clients to retain business and grow the same over time
  • Develop a client retention programme and a B2B marketing programme to further the reach of the MPM indoor media assets / products in the market
  • Work closely with Legal to develop and maintain ‘risk cover' through proper legal agreements customized to meet local legal jurisdiction
  • Ensure that all necessary documentations (including but not limited to concept approvals, proposals, license agreements, letters etc.,) are timely completed by the relevant teams to ensure SMBU is properly represented at all times
  • Coordinate closely with the Retail Design & Delivery team whenever necessary (i.e. for new or existing units) ensuring the processes & procedures in place are strictly followed by all concerned
  • Maintain good relations with existing tenants follow up on complaints, if any and provide support and guidance to the team in resolving problems to ensure optimal level of service, following established policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with the Qiddiya Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times
  • Build the capability of the team by providing timely regular feedback including annual review on performance and identify areas of improvement / reinforcement for further development
  • Manage, guide and mentor the team and take full responsibility of identifying potential talent and timely supporting professional development


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of relative experience in marketing or promotions, preferably within the retail or mall sector
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with various stakeholders
  • Experience in managing a team and fostering a collaborative culture
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
  • Proficient in marketing software and tools, including digital marketing platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions
