Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Procurement Engineer (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will get to participate in various procurement functions to ensure the quality, efficiency, and timeliness of services provided to clients and project personnel, while managing procurement activities.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborating with subs during pre-award processes, preparing bidder lists, issuing Request for Quotations (RFQs), analyzing bids, and making recommendations for awards.

• Assisting in post-award activities like obtaining vendor data, processing invoices, and preparing for project closeout and record storage.

• Serving as the primary contact for procurement document distribution and coordination across project teams.

• Monitoring the procurement lifecycle, including bid requests, agreemnet preparation, and subs follow-up to ensure timely action.

• Managing and maintaining procurement records, ensuring smooth and efficient project progression,i addtion to keep the vendor list updated

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any relevant field from an accredited university/ institution is required.

• 1 to 3 years of related work experience in procurement.

• Proficiency in procurement processes within a major engineering or industrial firm, including vendor data control, expediting, and purchasing activities.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic is required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with procurement in engineering and Design projects.

• Previous experience working closely with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
