Assistant Manager, Vehicle Performance Platform

Job Purpose:

Vehicle Performance Assistant Manager / Sr. Specialist is responsible for Complete Vehicle Attribute Integration with his/her Integration expertise and product knowledge, including management of VTS (Vehicle Technical Specification) and DVP (Design Verification Plan)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain VTS (Vehicle Technical Specification) based on PALS (Product Attribute Leadership Strategy) for all attributes / functions
• Monitor, measure and report on project performance status, development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
• Lead Target Deviations & Vehicle Build Deviation Management Process
• Support DVP Management to ensure Attribute Validation Strategy is line with Program requirements
• Establish and maintain a close working relationship with functional areas (Module Groups, Attribute Teams, and CAE)
• Create and Maintain Corporate Database to store Benchmark information and keep them up to date
• Liaise with other functional / departmental Managers to understand all necessary aspects of the project development and to ensure they are fully informed of development objectives, purposes, and achievements
• Drive implementation of corrective action where necessary.
• Train the local team and improve capabilities

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/automotive, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ Years in an automotive environment.
