Purpose of Position
Business Requirements
Minimum 5 years of specific experience in in-Service and shutdowns Inspection.
Technical Diploma/Engineering Degree
Skills & Qualities:.
- The API Inspector will be responsible for carrying out field surveys to assign and/or remove CMLs, assign suitable NDT technique for NDT technicians and make remaining life and Minimum thickness calculations with minimum supervision.
- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
- The API Inspector will be responsible for carrying out field surveys to assign and/or remove CMLs, assign suitable NDT technique for NDT technicians and make remaining life and Minimum thickness calculations with minimum supervision.
Business Requirements
- Ensure project activities are performed in accordance with accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards and that project activities are performed in accordance with the health, safety, and environmental policy.
- Ensure onsite work activities are performed in accordance with the health, safety, and environmental policy, and specific control of work procedures and practices.
- Ensuring quality of work according to BV and Client Quality System
- Ensure to follow the BV and Client HSE policy, procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain regular job-related contact with the stakeholders, client and liaise with the subcontractors and BV Technical team when needed.
- Actively participate in the overall departmental and operational tasks in the office.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
- Maintaining internal and external communication.
- Promotes BV portfolio to clients.
- Respects security guidelines of BV and clients and safeguards personal security in the working environment
Minimum 5 years of specific experience in in-Service and shutdowns Inspection.
Technical Diploma/Engineering Degree
Skills & Qualities:.
- A relevant engineering degree/diploma preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy.
- Must be certified with API 510 and API 570.
