About The Job

We are expanding our agile teams and are looking for an experienced Agile Coach to join the Agile Centre of Enablement (ACoE). This role is critical to guiding and building agile capabilities across the organization, ensuring teams can maximize the value delivered and transition smoothly to agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on coaching to teams and individuals, helping them to understand and excel in agile practices.
  • Facilitate the adoption of agile frameworks and methodologies across the organization.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and feedback loops.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and coaching engagements to build agile capabilities.
  • Encourage the use of metrics and data-driven decision-making to optimize delivery.
  • Promote a customer-centric mindset within teams.
  • Assist with economic decision-making and facilitate capability and feature estimation.
  • Advocate for lean thinking and systems thinking in agile practices.
  • Support the transition from traditional project management to agile methodologies across the enterprise.
  • Foster Lean-Agile learning and provide necessary training to kick off and maintain the transformation.
  • Coach leadership to lead by example and connect them to the voices of employees and suppliers.
  • For clarity, this is not a team level (Scrum Master) coaching role.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in Agile transition and coaching.
  • Proven track record as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach, and a focus on building relationships with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Lean Portfolio Management procedures and ceremonies.
  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership ability to engage and motivate in a high-performance culture.
  • Self-directed achiever who identifies opportunities to drive value and takes the lead.
  • SAFe certification or equivalent agile certification preferred.
  • Extensive experience managing software delivery; strong IT application development & leadership background preferred.
  • Experience in leading organizational change from traditional project management to agile methodologies.
