Accounting and Compliance Manager (Saudi National)

The Manager, Accounting & Compliance is responsible for managing all financial and commercial compliance matters for the Riyadh office, which is part of the Middle East cluster

This role is hands on, leading and supporting execution of processes during the financial statements audit, tax returns, business critical commercial regulatory requirements such as the Local Content (LC) certifications and Accounting.

Statutory Reporting

• Lead the statutory financial statements audit and be the main point of contact locally to the auditors and the ME Finance team, specifically ensuring alignment with the Accounting, Revenue Managers, and Tax and Compliance Manager based in Dubai on achieving set audit timelines.

Accounting

• Responsible for the timely preparation of all accounting records and management accounts
• Monitor the AP and Expenses workflow assisting locally (engaging with local staff, local vendors, and other stakeholders) and cross regionally, on any escalation queries.
• Review the month end AP control reports ensuring costs are booked and accrued to the correct accounts; high focus on material costs, such as rent and utilities, insurances, telecommunication accruals and ensure alignment with plan.
• Support with all SAP issues, liaise with the Global teams for new SAP entity set up.
• Review and support with the completion of year end corporate reporting packs.
• Prepare the annual Corporation Tax Provision workbooks for Global Tax.

Commercial Compliance

• Responsible for the LC and ICV scores and audits, providing stakeholders guidance on score, post completion audit and process improvement.
• Perform yearly entity LC audit and assist the Revenue Manager with Contract LC reporting.
• Support Partners and Accounting teams on Contract specific Local Content, advising on ways to improve score and providing guidance and recommendations on proposals.
• Ensure ITKVA reporting in KSA.
