Job Overview
The Account Manager drives revenue and profit growth by establishing strong senior-level client relationships, managing the complete account lifecycle, and executing strategic account plans aligned with global, regional, and local objectives. The role represents the company commercially and strategically, ensuring service quality, operational excellence, and disciplined compliance with safety, ethical, and governance standards.
Responsibilities
Uphold all safety, security, compliance, and ethical standards, promoting a culture of responsible operations and continuous improvement.
Maintain full compliance with corporate governance, HSE requirements, and trade regulations.
Support and enhance Quality standards by contributing to improvements in the Management System and prioritizing service quality.
Own the full Account Management lifecycle from planning to execution.
Develop and maintain the Account Plan in SFDC and align all stakeholders to annual objectives.
Ensure consistent and effective use of digital tools such as SFDC and XAIT-Porter.
Lead tender development and response processes, securing high-quality submissions.
Address commercial and technical requirements with clients in collaboration with Technical Sales.
Support and lead negotiations and contract extensions, coordinating with Legal when required.
Gather, analyze, and distribute market intelligence and client feedback.
Develop strategic plans that align customer needs with company capabilities and objectives.
Identify business risks within accounts and implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitate tender result debriefs, communicate outcomes, and update SFDC accordingly.
Organize internal contract handover meetings and prepare contract summary documentation.
Monitor contract performance and escalate key issues or opportunities for improvement.
Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet or exceed expectations.
Prepare and execute Client Engagement Plans to grow product and service offerings.
Deliver presentations and represent the company at industry events and client forums.
Manage client expectations, communicate bid participation decisions, and drive issue resolution.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Achieve revenue targets through execution of the Account Plan and conduct quarterly reviews.
Finalize Upsell Plans and identify revenue gaps, implementing actions to meet annual goals.
Evaluate opportunities with Technical Sales and apply commercial processes for pricing and tendering.
Manage costs responsibly within policy and approved budgets.
Complete required training and engage in ongoing professional development.
Collaborate with management to assess performance, skills, and career development needs.
Support talent development, coaching, succession planning, and strong workforce retention.
Demonstrate consistent leadership, integrity, and adherence to company values.
Skills
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of tenders, contracts, and negotiations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Minimum 8 years of industry experience.
Minimum 4 years of direct industry sales experience.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to <10%.
