Job Description

Partners with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design, and deployment.

Responsible for participating in customer engagements to collaboratively design and implement solutions. May work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and translates business needs into solutions. Implements solutions and ensures successful deployments through code development and scripting. Displays product/application understanding through more customized presentation demonstrations to customers and at conferences and events. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Creates and distributes technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations). Serves as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Further builds business and technical acumen.

Minimum qualifications include 5+ years’ experience with computer applications and tools required. Ability to travel 25% international and domestic. Preferred but not required qualifications include Bachelor of Science-level university degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering from accredited university; and/or relevant 5 years technical experience. Expertise in system and application design; Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Solving technical problems with customers in technical environments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Arabic, English
  • Good knowledge of SQL, Machine Learning and AI, IT architectures and networking
  • Must have database analytical background.
  • Experience on BI tools, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos etc., preferably certified in analytics solution.
  • Any certification on Cloud, Analytics or DHW, Lakehouse, AI&ML technology is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key.
  • Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related degree.
  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Experience in DBA & Data Analyst engagement.
  • Must have background experience Snowflake, Databricks or other Analytics or AI/ML technology.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Database experience, programming skills, Linux skills highly preferred
  • Cloud Skills and experience highly preferred
  • Experience with the Azure data and analytics stack: particularly in modern data platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
  • GCP / AWS / Azure Certifications.
  • Good understanding of the IT market/trends especially on the realm of Analytics & DWH; good understanding of the various concepts of cloud technology, preferably certified in at least a cloud technology.
  • Experience working with MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake and AWS databases.

  • Serve as a key member of the Oracle HeatWave Solution Engineering team focused on driving overall Cloud adoption.
  • Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market.
  • Experience with account management (Enterprise, SMB and startup) and solution selling.
  • Maintain strong database technical knowledge with the ability to go deep enough on technical aspects to differentiate between varied database approaches (relational, non-relational, in-memory, data warehousing, etc.)
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions, and discussions to drive awareness and adoption of Oracle HeatWave
  • program initiatives for Oracle HeatWave Service to analytic and big data developers.
  • Lead the technical presentation, drive customer workshops and provide deep-dive technical discussion with clients on HeatWave and OCI technologies.

Identifies gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer driven features. Leading contributor, may provide direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. May interact with C level. Maintains expertise by staying current on emerging technologies.
