Join Our Food & Beverage Team as a Steward at the First Vignette Collection in KSA!

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Steward to join the Food & Beverage team at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel). This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and operational support within the kitchen and dining areas. Primary Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment in accordance with hotel hygiene standards.
• Ensure all kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation and kitchen duties when required.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with hotel and environmental standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Ensure all cleaning chemicals and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
• Report any maintenance issues, unsafe equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries while ensuring proper hygiene and organization.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times.
• Support the kitchen team during busy operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear the required uniform and protective equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Kitchen Management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a stewarding, kitchen, or cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support the kitchen and service teams.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift items, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
