The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional spa treatments and wellness experiences that reflect the highest standards of luxury hospitality. This role provides a wide range of professional therapies, including massage and body treatments, while ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction. The Spa Therapist is expected to create a personalized and memorable wellness journey by combining technical expertise with outstanding service and genuine care.
Location: Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah - KSA
Key Responsibilities

Deliver a variety of professional spa treatments, including massages, body therapies, facials, and wellness services, in accordance with established protocols and luxury service standards.

Conduct guest consultations to assess individual needs, preferences, and contraindications before each treatment.

Recommend appropriate treatments, wellness programs, and retail products based on guest requirements.

Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and proper setup of equipment, linens, and amenities.

Maintain the highest standards of sanitation and infection control throughout all treatment areas.

Ensure guest comfort, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.

Monitor guest well-being during treatments and adjust techniques as necessary to ensure a safe and relaxing experience.

Maintain accurate guest treatment records and update client profiles after each service.

Promote spa services, wellness programs, and retail products to enhance the guest experience and achieve departmental goals.

Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance requirements, or safety concerns promptly.

Comply with all hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and spa operating procedures.

Participate in ongoing training, product knowledge sessions, and wellness development programs.

Support spa events, promotional activities, and wellness initiatives as required.

Collaborate effectively with spa reception, attendants, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Valid professional Spa Therapist certification and any licenses required by local regulations.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury hotel, resort, wellness center, or high-end spa.

Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques and body treatments; facial treatment experience is an advantage.

Excellent knowledge of anatomy, wellness practices, hygiene, and guest care.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional appearance with a warm, calm, and service-oriented demeanor.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Good command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
