Key Responsibilities
- Implement and sustain Unilever SHE Standards and local legal requirements in the factory (risk assessments, permits-to-work, LOTO, machine safety, contractor management, etc.).
- Lead or support SHE risk assessments (JHAs, HAZOPs, ergonomics) and ensure timely closure of actions.
- Coordinate incident and near-miss reporting, investigation and learning; track corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor SHE KPIs (injuries, near misses, audits, inspections) and drive continuous improvement plans.
- Deliver SHE inductions, training, coaching and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
- Support projects and capex (new lines, layout changes) to ensure “SHE by design”.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with Unilever and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and HR to embed SHE in daily operations at Jeddah Factory.
- Degree in Engineering or SHE-related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in SHE or HSE roles in manufacturing / factory environment preferred.
- Knowledge of KSA occupational safety, health and environmental regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication, coaching and influencing skills across levels and shifts.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- NEBOSH IGC.
- OSH Certificate.
