Senior Specialist, Data Governance

Job Purpose

To Monitor and ensure the overall achievement of the different data agendas including data quality, data catalogue, data sharing, and data revenue framework. And to provide support to superiors in conducting data management compliance

Accountabilities :

• Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Adherence to policies, operational procedures and instructions
• Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the area of work, ensuring compliance with the established standards and procedures
• Smooth flow of day-to-day operations
• Coordinate with business data executives and business data stewards from each of the entity’s sectors and departments to receive their inputs on each of the data management program
• Effective coordination maintained
• Develop and implement different data management programs including (Data Catalogue, Data Sharing, Individual Profile, Data Classification, and Data Revenue),
• Enhanced data optimization
• Monitor and ensure the efficiency implementation process of the different data management programs, including identifying entity’s requirements, monitoring progress of these programs, reporting on their KPIs, and proposing enhancements
• Efficient process and end results
• Maintain and develop inventory of the enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems and owners, with supervision of superiors
• High Accuracy of data
• Work with business owners to define and establish data quality rules, definitions, and strategy consistent with division and organizational strategies and goals
• Effective coordination maintained
• Perform any work assignments related to the job as directed by the management
• Smooth workflow
• Provide support to superiors in defining indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards roles and responsibilities, and adoptions requirements
• Efficient indicators maintained
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department guaranteeing employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Business Management, Business Administration, IT, or any related discipline is required
• Advanced English language proficiency is required.

Professional Certificate:

• CDMP Certification

Experience:

• Minimum of five years work experience with at least two of which in a relevant function.
