Senior HR Professional – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Our client, a global HR consulting firm, is looking for a very senior HR professional for a 3-month project based on-site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Potential start date: Ideally 20 June, although a start towards the end of June can also be considered.
Candidates from the maritime, ports, container terminal, or related sectors are preferred. However, professionals from the wider heavy industrial sector will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
-Support the current CHRO with day-to-day HR leadership activities.
-Provide expertise in workforce planning and organizational design.
-Partner with business unit leaders to review and challenge manpower assumptions and workforce requirement.
-Advise on HR processes, policies, and systems as the organization transitions from a local entity to a more global operating model.
-Support talent acquisition activities and broader people-related initiatives as required.
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR-related matters during the transformation period.
Professional background
-15–20 years of broad HR leadership experience.
-Experience within maritime, ports, container terminals, or related sectors is preferred; candidates from heavy industrial environments will also be considered.
-Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.
-Experience supporting organizational growth, transformation, and workforce planning initiatives
-Fluent English is required.
