Overview:

Qiddiya Investment Company is pioneering entertainment and leisure development in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a visionary and results oriented Senior Director - Entertainment Strategy to join our team. In this crucial role, you will drive the strategic direction of our entertainment assets and initiatives, ensuring we create memorable and captivating experiences for visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Senior Executive Director of Entertainment Strategy in the development and execution of the overarching entertainment asset class strategy to ensure achievement of portfolio and assets’ ambition, vision and objectives.

2. Oversee design (pre-concept and concept) and early development stages of new entertainment assets to ensure alignment with Qiddiya’s entertainment offering and financials targets.

3. Lead research and delivery of new entertainment concepts to be integrated into Qiddiya City’s entertainment portfolio of assets; understand value proposition, prepare feasibility assessments and high-level implementation roadmap.

4. Manage contracted vendors, IP licensors, and other third parties to ensure that deliverables are in line with the overall project vision, offering, and relevant briefs (strategy brief and/or development brief)

5. Develop initial go-live strategies (operating model, pricing, sales and marketing, manpower planning, etc.) and provide implementation support to other functions across Qiddiya.

6. Prepare presentations and other supporting material required for seeking relevant approvals; Qiddiya Stage governance framework, Senior Management and Board of Directors.

7. Work closely with Qiddiya Entertainment Business Unit and other stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of new projects and overall alignment to directives received from Senior Management and Board of Directors.

8. Establish and monitor key projects’ KPIs covering development, business, financial and operational plans to ensure alignment with project vision.

9. Prepare and monitor annual budgets, hiring plans, strategic and implementation plans of relevance to the Entertainment strategy function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in entertainment strategy, asset management, or related domains.
