We need a strategic thinker who can navigate the intricacies of multi-billion dollar agreements while ensuring Parsons and our clients are protected at every turn.
What You Will Be Doing:
-
Direct the full spectrum of contract administration, from initial RFP development and tendering to final close-out and dispute resolution.
-
Identify potential commercial risks and liabilities early; develop and implement robust mitigation strategies to safeguard project margins.
-
Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of complex change orders, claims, and variations, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
-
Act as the primary commercial point of contact for the client, subcontractors, and internal legal teams to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
-
Monitor contract performance against budgets, ensuring all commercial activities are conducted with total transparency and financial integrity.
-
Oversee all pre and post-contract commercial and contractual administration, ensuring full compliance with main contract agreements and joint venture parameters.
-
Manage, evaluate, and negotiate complex variation orders, extension of time (EOT) requests, and high-value commercial claims.
-
Provide definitive contractual advice and risk mitigation strategies to the Project Director, senior management, and client representatives.
-
Lead the dispute resolution process, working closely with legal and executive teams to resolve conflicts amicably and efficiently.
-
Supervise the review and approval of monthly progress payments, final accounts, and the close-out of major contractor packages.
-
Establish and maintain robust contract management procedures, ensuring all correspondence and documentation are meticulously logged to protect company interests.
-
Mentor and manage a team of quantity surveyors, contract administrators, and cost specialists.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
-
Minimum of 15 years in contract management, with a strong emphasis on large-scale infrastructure or mega-projects.
-
Deep expertise in FIDIC and other international standard forms of contract.
-
Exceptional negotiation and drafting skills, with the ability to articulate complex commercial points to non-technical stakeholders.
-
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment within a multicultural team in Riyadh.
-
Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills, with the gravitas to interface effectively with senior client stakeholders and executive boards.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

-
Experience in PMO projects is highly desirable.
-
Experience with Saudi Arabian procurement laws is highly desirable.
