Overview Of The Role:
- The Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing the customer experience in the store. This role involves performing various operational tasks as directed by the store management, which includes maintaining excellent housekeeping and visual presentation standards. The Sales Assistant needs to establish strong rapport with the customers through energetic customer service and must act in a manner that aligns with the store's brand values. Success in this role is measured by the ability to maintain a clean and inviting store environment, providing customers with a welcoming and informed interaction, and supporting the store's operational goals.
General
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness to create a sparkling clean and organized environment.
- Project a positive first impression with an energetic attitude and a keen adherence to the dress code.
- Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a welcoming smile and genuine, personable greeting.
- Provide customers with up-to-date and relevant product information.
- Deliver quality service in fitting rooms, following up with customers promptly and maintaining cash wrap cleanliness while attempting to increase sales.
- Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offering gift cards, maintaining cleanliness, and capturing customer information in the database.
- Thank all customers sincerely as they exit the store and invite them to return.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Ability to maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Skill in handling sales transactions and database management
- High School Degree
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting and stand for a minimum of 8 hours
