Our Potential Opportunity

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager with 15+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) within EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The QA/QC Manager will ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with Saudi Aramco and ADNOC requirements, as well as relevant industry standards. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment, extensive experience in oil and gas projects, and a proven track record in Saudi Aramco and ADNOC projects.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver:

  • Lead and manage the development, implementation, and oversight of all quality assurance and control activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Aramco and ADNOC standards.
  • Establish and maintain project-specific Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and client requirements, ensuring all quality processes and procedures are in place.
  • Oversee and coordinate all inspection and testing activities, ensuring that materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with project specifications and standards.
  • Ensure project deliverables adhere to applicable international standards for control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment, including ISO, API, ASME, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Monitor and audit the quality of materials, equipment, and components supplied by vendors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, quality records, and non-conformance reports, ensuring full traceability and compliance with client expectations.
  • Identify, document, and manage non-conformances and quality issues, recommending corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality performance, reduce rework, and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters with Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, and other stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction with project quality standards.
  • Lead internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with project QMS and client requirements, and addressing any findings or recommendations promptly.

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in QA/QC management, with significant exposure to EPC projects in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven experience working on Saudi Aramco and ADNOC projects, with a thorough understanding of their QA/QC requirements and standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment and applicable industry standards, including ISO, API, ASME, and others.
  • Certification in ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent QA/QC certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant software applications.
  • Strong understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment, including design, installation, and testing standards.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing quality management systems for complex EPC projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of international standards for control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment, and other equipment used in EPC projects.
  • Experience in overseeing inspection, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Experience in managing complex quality control systems, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with international and client-specific quality standards.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and auditing vendor quality, ensuring all materials and equipment meet required standards.
  • Ability to manage non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes to prevent recurrence.

  • Ability to lead QA/QC teams, fostering a culture of quality and accountability across the project.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and project teams on quality matters.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify quality issues and develop effective solutions for improving project outcomes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all quality documentation is accurate and compliant with project standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to resolve quality issues and ensure project success.
