Public Relations Officer
McKinsey & Company
Date: 8 hours ago
City: Riyadh
Contract type: Full time
Who You'll Work With
You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to tackle meaningful challenges that have a real impact.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we’ll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help you quickly broaden your expertise, grow into a well-rounded professional, and contribute to work that truly makes a difference.
When you join us, you will have:
You will work closely with the Admin and HR functions and will collaborate closely with other relevant functions within the Middle East office, EEMA region and firm including people legal, immigration legal, talent management, mobility, and human resources.
You will report to the Mobility, Eligibility and Immigration Leader for Middle East Office based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Our Middle East office comprises 8 locations that include 1000+ consulting and non-consulting colleagues.
As a trusted representative of the firm, your primary purpose is to coordinate and liaise between McKinsey and various government organizations and authorities. You will respond effectively to the demands of our businesses and employees, assisting them with government-related services. When required, you will provide quick, efficient, and reliable services for all government-related processes—such as employment permits, entry visas, business licenses, and other immigration, Ministry of Labor, and consulate requirements—while strictly adhering to changing rules and regulations, often on short notice.
You will be responsible for monitoring and renewing firm-sponsored residence, work permits, Iqamas, and complimentary multiple exit and re-entry visas for both expatriate employees and their dependents. You will also facilitate and follow up on visa cancellations for sponsored employees and their families when necessary. Additionally, you will take full ownership of all Government Oriental Social Insurance (GOSI) submissions, including the timely registration and deregistration of employees.
On a day-to-day basis, you will support business operations by administering company licenses and managing tax remittances with various Saudi government authorities, including the Ministry of Municipality and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD). You will monitor Nitaqat/Saudization metrics and available block visas, reporting updates and strategic insights to leadership. To maintain compliance, you will support the remapping of job titles and professions for expatriate and Saudi employees in line with Nitaqat requirements. You will also liaise with the Chamber of Commerce to secure attested commercial registrations and invitation letters for business visa applications, maintain accurate records for all services, and offer expert advice on visa formalities to the business and its employees. Because government rules evolve rapidly, you must stay continuously abreast of updates to handle urgent tasks efficiently with little to no notice.
You will remain ready to provide hands-on support to employees and their families during challenging situations upon request from the business. Finally, you will facilitate direct interactions with government agencies during official visits, which includes preparing detailed, highly confidential dossiers with the appropriate level of discretion.
