Project Quotation Engineer

We are now looking for a Project Quotation Engineer to join our Global Project Quotation team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be at the heart of the sales process, translating customer requirements into competitive, high-quality technical and commercial proposals.

Your impact

• Drive winning proposals: Lead the technical preparation of project quotations, including sizing, selection, and costing of control valves and field equipment.
• Act as a key technical partner to Sales: Support bid strategy, clarify requirements, and help position the best solution for the customer.
• Bridge technical and commercial worlds: Contribute to pricing discussions, commercial alignment, and value-based proposal development.
• Ensure excellence in delivery: Own the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of quotations and technical documentation.
• Collaborate across borders: Work closely with global teams, project managers, and diverse stakeholders.
• Engage with customers: Support bid clarifications and participate in technical discussions and negotiations.
  
  

What Will Make You Successful

• Degree in Instrumentation, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related process discipline.
• 6 years of experience in the valve industry.
• Expertise in handling the Middle East projects and strong familiarity with Saudi Aramco and SABIC requirements.
• Strong expertise in control valve sizing and selection (essential requirement).
• Understanding process industries such as Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, or Mining.
• Knowledge of instrumentation systems (valves, field instruments, installation, field engineering) is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to travel about 20% of your working time.
• Systematic and assertive character, being able to manage complex situations under pressure.
• Team-player who is open-minded and willing to share knowledge with others.
