Job Title: Procurement & Contracts Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement & Contracts Manager to join a well-established real estate company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the procurement and contracts function, developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier and contractor relationships, overseeing contract administration, optimizing procurement operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards, and supporting the company's operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement & Contracts, including at least 3 years as a Procurement & Contracts Manager within a Real Estate Development or Contracting Company.
- Established network of qualified contractors and suppliers, with experience managing and evaluating a database of at least 500 contractors and 100 suppliers.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's operational and business objectives.
- Lead, supervise, and manage the Procurement & Contracts team, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and staff development.
- Oversee the daily operations of procurement and contract management activities.
- Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers and contractors.
- Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors while negotiating pricing, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and contractual agreements.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, company procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation, ensuring proper filing and document control.
- Analyze procurement data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement continuous process improvements.
- Evaluate, qualify, and monitor supplier and contractor performance based on quality, delivery, and service standards.
- Conduct site visits to monitor procurement activities and ensure compliance with approved specifications, materials, and project requirements.
- Train and mentor procurement staff on procurement procedures, systems, and best practices.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support procurement planning and project execution.
- Prepare weekly and monthly procurement and contracts reports for senior management.
