Primary objectives:
- Manage the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Talent Acquisition (TA) team delivery and output as required to support regional hiring needs and meet the strategic goals of the business
- Ensure a best practice approach to TA, in accordance with the company’s quality standards, policies and procedures
- Consistently deliver an outstanding, proactive TA service, adding value to the region and wider organisation.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Drive the performance of the KSA TA team, delivering outstanding, agile support while ensuring changing wider business aims are achieved
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key regional business stakeholders
- Collaborate and engage effectively with the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) TA Director to promote workload sharing and ensure TA teams receive sufficient support in order to meet project and business needs
- Development of TA strategy and initiatives to address regional issues, with a major focus upon Saudi Nationalization
- Increasing TA capability in the region wherever possible in conjunction with the Regional TA Leads and TA Director
- Promote and drive the selection of internal company resources throughout the hiring process
- Drive diversity in candidate slates, interview shortlists and hires in line with broader company D&I targets
- Promote the use of Eightfold and other TA related systems throughout the region in order to produce regular and accurate TA related reports
- Ensure all TA activities comply with relevant legal demands (local/regional/global) and ethical standards
- Develop effective, positive working relationships with location People teams across the region, such that the TA function is well represented and the business is fully engaged and supported.
What you will bring:

Minimum of 10 years TA experience within Engineering, Oil & Gas or similar, working in an in-house function
- Strong background in international recruitment; hands-on experience of recruiting across the Middle East
- Excellent communicator and collaborator; very comfortable leading a multi-cultural, team.
- Ability to partner with (and act as an advisor to) business stakeholders and hiring managers
- A handle on key Talent Acquisition data metrics and reporting
- Demonstrable leadership qualities; leading both by example and influence.
- Degree level qualification(s) in Human Resources, Engineering, Management, Psychology or equivalent.
- Understanding and awareness of the importance of HSE and how it relates to TA
- Excellent understanding of the company’s current strategy and objectives
- Good organizational skills, strong attention to detail together with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently and manage complex workloads across multiple business lines and locations
- IT Literate: Taleo, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
