KSA Pre-Sales Engineer C&I

Key responsibilities:

Customer engagement & account coverage:

Own Sungrow’s presence and relationships across KSA C&I accounts (Commercial, Industrial & Residential):

plan and execute structured customer visits, schedule and deliver high-quality corporate and technical

presentations, and ensure key decision-makers and influencers are consistently engaged.

Adapt and maintain KSA technical materials: content, grid codes, regulations, local project context.

Deliver briefings on approvals, certifications, milestones, and strategic announcements.

Prepare tailored technical briefing packs for visits. Track key contacts across accounts and feed intelligence

to Sales owners.


Product & solution communications (launches & updates):

Deliver product launch briefings, updates, and migration guidance to KSA customers.

Translate technical features into customer-relevant messages (value and reliability).

Articulate Sungrow’s technical advantages in the field: explain how products and solutions are the best fit

for customer project types, applications, and grid requirements in language that resonates with

engineers and technical decision-makers (techno-commercial).


Training & technical enablement:

Plan and deliver structured technical trainings and workshops for customers and indirect accounts.

Maintain KSA training materials aligned with HQ/MEA governance.

Coordinate technical experts (Solutions / Service pre-sales) to co-deliver advanced sessions when required.


Skills & Requirements:

Works with KSA C&I Sales owners (Accounts Manager, Key Accounts Manager, BD Manager) to align on

C&I accounts, schedule engagements, and share structured account intelligence.

Works with Solutions teams to validate technical content and route advanced technical topics.

Works with MEA/HQ marketing/product teams for content governance, approvals, and launch

communications.

Works with Service pre-sales when trainings include commissioning, grid compliance, or service packages.


Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Electrical / Power / Renewable Energy

preferred).


Experience:

7+ years in customer-facing technical roles: applications engineering, solutions engineering, technical

sales, or pre-sales in the energy sector. Pure marketing / sales backgrounds will not be considered.

Strong presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Fluent English and Arabic.

Willingness to travel frequently within KSA and regularly internationally.

Deep PV and BESS knowledge required: inverter sizing, storage architecture, grid codes, single-line

diagrams, commissioning
