Job Summary

The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services required for the company's operations. The role ensures timely procurement, cost optimization, supplier management, and compliance with company policies and Saudi regulations to support business objectives efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure materials, equipment, consumables, and services from approved local and international suppliers.
  • Obtain quotations, evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, procurement documentation, and supplier contracts in accordance with company procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of purchase requests.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with warehouse and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply and service quality.
  • Track purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure materials are received on time and as specified.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Conduct market research and monitor pricing trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable Saudi Arabian regulations.
  • Coordinate with the finance department regarding invoice verification, payment processing, and budget monitoring.
  • Support management with procurement reports, supplier performance evaluations, and cost analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and supplier relationship management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Saudi market suppliers and procurement regulations is preferred.
