ABOUT THE JOB
Join IDOM’s Manufacturing Division as a Junior Engineer and kick-start your career through a structured international development program.
This role is designed for high-potential graduates who want to grow fast, gain real project exposure, and build a long-term career in engineering, project management, and business development.
From day one, you will be part of real industrial projects, working closely with experienced professionals who will guide and support your development at every step. The objective is for you to progressively grow into a key engineering and business contributor in Saudi Arabia, with a clear and supported learning path.
YOUR DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY
Phase 1 – International Technical Immersion (Spain | 2–3 months)
Start your career with a unique opportunity to work from IDOM offices in Bilbao or Madrid, fully integrated within multidisciplinary project teams.
You will:
Work alongside experienced engineers from different disciplines
Receive hands-on guidance and daily support in real projects
Gain exposure to all key engineering disciplines
Understand the full project lifecycle, from concept to construction
Phase 2 – International Assignment (Saudi Arabia | onwards)
You will then relocate to Riyadh, joining the regional team and continuing your development under direct mentoring.
During this phase:
You will work side by side with the MNF responsible in KSA
Responsibilities will increase progressively, at your own pace
You will always have technical and managerial support available
You will gain exposure to clients, projects, and local stakeholders in a structured way
YOUR FUTURE ROLE (WHAT YOU WILL GROW INTO)
As you develop, you will progressively take ownership of:
Business development support and client interaction
Preparation of technical and commercial proposals
Coordination between teams in Spain and Saudi Arabia
Permitting processes and interaction with local authorities
Project support, and eventually project management responsibilities
All of this will be achieved through progressive responsibility, with continuous guidance from experienced professionals.

ABOUT YOU
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering).
Recent graduate or with limited professional experience, with strong motivation to develop a long-term career in engineering and project management.
A Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering Management, or a commercial/business-related field will be considered a plus.
Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
Availability to travel regularly to Spain to IDOM Headquarters and across the Middle East.
Willingness to relocate to Riyadh and work in an international environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive mindset, high level of initiative, and eagerness to learn.
Ability to adapt to different technical environments and work within multidisciplinary teams.
