Job Summary

We are seeking a polished, welcoming, and highly organized Host / Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The role is responsible for creating a warm first impression, managing guest flow and reservations, coordinating seating, and ensuring a smooth and personalized guest experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Create a positive and memorable first impression while representing the LA HAUT brand.
• Manage guest arrivals, reservations, waitlists, and table allocation efficiently.
• Coordinate seating arrangements according to reservations, guest preferences, and restaurant capacity.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation and guest information.
• Communicate effectively with the service team and management regarding guest arrivals, special requests, VIP guests, and table availability.
• Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably settled.
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the restaurant, menu, reservations, and services.
• Monitor guest flow and coordinate with the floor team to minimize waiting times.
• Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism and escalate matters when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Support the restaurant team during peak periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a polished appearance and consistently adhere to grooming and presentation standards.
• Follow all restaurant policies, service standards, and guest experience procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host / Hostess, Receptionist, Guest Relations, or similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Experience in a premium restaurant, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, confident, and welcoming personality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and guest-focused mindset.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Professional grooming and presentation.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
