Job Description

Facility Maintenance Specialist

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains regular communication with Management regarding assignment status, including schedule adherence, budget management, delays, and critical issues.
  • In coordination with the Facilities Manager, prioritizes repair requests on a weekly basis to ensure operational continuity.
  • Maintains comprehensive logs of all repairs, status updates, and completion dates, submitting detailed reports to the Facilities Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Manages inventory levels of supplies and equipment, procuring necessary materials with Facilities Manager approval to maintain operational readiness.
  • Delivers technical expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to maintenance standards and best practices.
  • Oversees the training and evaluation of assigned technical personnel to ensure competency and professional development.
  • Executes additional critical facility-related responsibilities as required.
  • Requires 10–15 years of substantial Facilities Management experience, with demonstrated expertise in managing, operating, and maintaining educational facilities, including schools, universities, campuses, and their associated infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
